Maulana Syed Salahuddin Abu Sulayman of Birmingham, UK, was born in 1990. He began his preliminary Islamic education in Syedpur, Sylhet Bangladesh, continuing studies in his hometown,  Birmingham. After completing memorisation of the holy Qur’an in 2005, he went on to study Islamic Theology (Alimiyyah course) and Arabic languages at Darul-Uloom, Bury, UK. Maulana studied Arabic languages, Tafsir, Hadith, Fiqh, Aqaa'id under various auspicious scholars, including the founder of Darul-Uloom Bury and many institutes across the world, Shaykh Yusuf Motala (رحمه الله). Maulana Salahuddin has received ijāzah for Sahih al-Bukhāri from his late teacher Shaykh Yusuf Motala (رحمه الله), the late Hadith erudite of India, Shaykh Yunus Jawnpuri (رحمه الله) and many other scholars. On completing the study of the major books of Ahadeeth, Maulana graduated in 2012. Since then, Maulana Salahuddin has mainly been involved in the field of teaching Qur’an and Islamic Studies aswell as serving as an Imam. Also involving himself in the work of charity. Maulana Syed Salahuddin is also the founder of An-Naseeha Academy.
